I went to Body Pump today, which is the weight lifting class I attend twice a week, and I was feeling like a weakling. It may be due to the 250 lb. muscle man that stood behind me all class. The weights he was lifting made mine look like cheerios in comparison. At the end of the class the instructor said, “grab some protein” to us all, but I felt it was directed towards me. So I returned home and tried to decide which protein source I would have. As a non-meat eater, I have to be creative with my choices (fear not, there are many non-meat protein sources). This is what I chose: Protein Train Mix Cookies. I made them as bars. These babies are going to bulk up my salad lunches for sure! Next time I’ll be putting muscle man to shame.
